- What is the transfer time to Chalet Les Sapins from Geneva Airport?
Transfer time is approximately 90 minuets from Geneva international airport to Chalet Les Sapins. The usual route is around the lake and then up into the mountains from Thonon Les Bains. It is a picturesque drive taking in views of the lake and some french villages.
- How far is the Chalet from the nearest ski lift?
Les Sapins’ closest lift is Linge which is less than 5 mins drive. Pre La Joux is a bit further up the valley with a larger parking area and that is less than 10 mins drive from Chalet Les Sapins.
- Do we need a car in Chatel?
A car is not necessary as there are buses that run from a bus stop 2 mins walk from Chalet Les Sapins. However they are often busy in peak season and some some people find it more convemient to have their own car. If you book a fully catered package with us then your host will drive you to the lifts and back each day, or into Chatel main village at your convenience.
